Fiji Life

I went to Fiji for the first time this year. I didn't really have any expectations, I just wanted to relax in the sun.

There was an initial hiccup, the 1 year old living just through the wall who insisted on screaming early evenings and very early mornings. Lisa (having overly sensitive ears) decided one night of that was enough, and we were relocated with very little fuss.
We were staying at the Fijian, which is a pretty big family orientated resort, but we were ok once we had worked out there was actually an adult only pool and a quiet stretch of almost deserted beach.
I reckon we were pretty lucky, after 7 days of sunshine I wasn't really ready to come home but all good things must end so we can truly appreciate them.

New Family Member

Meet Alley, the newest member of my wee family.

she is very cool, in fact I'd say she's purrfect!

Actually she's bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to going outside. Since the SPCA had her classed as a stray, I'm picking that she got lost from her last owners so doesn't want to risk anything.

She is going to have to learn fast though, 'cause I am way over having a litter box inside and the cat door goes in this week...

I guess I lied :(

Ok, it would appear that I haven't been very good at keeping this up to date, even though I said I would... one might even wonder if I had forgotten I'd set it up.

The beginning

Hi

Since i am not the best at correspondence and am constantly out of date with keeping in touch with friends far away, i thought i should join the new wave and get blogging.

I'll do my best to keep this up to date with the key things going on in my life.
